Partner with the best

The Commodity buyercontributes toprocurement strategy for his/her product and execute order placement and agreements with suppliers supporting business KPIs.

TheCommodity Buyeris responsible for:

• Contributing to developand executelong term strategies for the assigned commodity ensuring best performance for procurement KPI
• Integrating commodity strategies into product leadershipsalesengineeringand manufacturingobjectives.
• New Product Development driving supplier selection development and overall supplier management with support of engineeringsalesproductleadershipandotherprocurementteamin accordance withthe business strategy
• Partnering and being a point of reference for Product LeadershipSalesandEngineering for product strategy of the assigned commodity
• Developing negotiation strategies and leading negotiations to achieve stated goals andobjectivesof supply chain for Single PO as well as Strategic Partnership
• Negotiating and issuing purchase orders with suppliers achieving lowestpossible costfor material balanced againstoptimumquality and schedule needs
• DevelopingProcurementinitiatives for cost out program deflation cycle reduction BVCProcurementand cash flow improvement ( payment terms)
• Leveraging S&OP data to match andoptimizesupplier capacity with business goals

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Bachelors/Masterdegree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Economic with experience inprocurement or commodity management
• Showa good experiencein Procurement Operations Supply Chain
• English and Italian fluent both in writing and speaking
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems andidentifysolutions
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Positive attitude to embrace change and see challenge as opportunity
• Abilityto document plan market and execute programs
• Availability to travel

For Italy: The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 36000 To 49500.

The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
