As aSenior Mechanical Application Engineer, you will be a key technical interface between our customers, commercial teams, and engineering functions.You’llbe responsible fortranslating customer requirements into robust, fit-for-purpose subsea equipment solutions—supporting tenders, front-end engineering, and project execution.

As aSenior Mechanical Application Engineer,you willbe responsible for:

• Leadingmechanical engineering input for subsea tenders, studies, and early engagement activities.

• Interpretingclient specifications and translate them into compliant, cost-effective technical solutions.

• Developingand reviewingmechanical designs, layouts, and technical documentation for subsea systems and components.

• Collaboratingwith cross-functional teams including product management, manufacturing, sourcing,commercialand project engineering.

• Providingtechnical support to commercial teams during bid preparation and client presentations.

• Ensuringsolutions meet applicable industry standards (API, ISO), internal design practices, and customer requirements.

• Mentoringjunior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the team.

• Supportingrisk assessments, design reviews, and lessons learned activities.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have aBachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineeringor related discipline.

• Have proven experience in mechanical design or application engineering within the subsea oil & gas sector.

• Have a strong understanding ofSubsea Production Systems,with detailed knowledge of SubseaChristmas Trees, TubingHangersand their associated tooling.

• Be proficientinthe use ofengineeringsoftware(e.g.AutoCAD,MathCAD, Teamcenter)

• Have experience of requirement management andinterfacemanagement, andproficiencyin the use of relevant software (e.g. DOORs,SmartPDF)

• Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Be ableto manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

For Italy:The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 51,200 To 70,400.

The provisions of the Contratto Collettivo Energia e Petrolio will be applied to this position. Art. 32 and Art. 34 of that collective bargaining agreement relate to pay.
