Junior Industrial AI Engineer – NextHub Bari

We are looking for a junior figure to join Deloitte NextHub in Bari, working in Hybrid mode. The business is focused on supporting our clients in identifying solutions and models aimed at improving productivity, efficiency, and quality of services offered, also with the support of new technologies.

Your Role

You will work on intelligent automation and industrial process optimization projects, developing solutions that make factories more efficient, sustainable, and intelligent. You will be at the heart of Industry 4.0 and will also have the opportunity to connect with the main scientific communities in the sector, expanding your professional network.

The Junior resource will be integrated into a work team, supporting senior colleagues and dealing with:

• Develop optimization algorithms for industrial processes
• Implement predictive monitoring and control systems
• Work with IoT, edge computing, and industrial cloud
• Integrate machine learning with SCADA and MES systems
• Contribute to research on predictive maintenance and Digital Twin

What we offer

The expected salary for the Analyst position is between EUR 22,000 and EUR 25,000 gross per year.
In case of an internship, an internship allowance is provided.
The classification will be defined during the selection phase based on the profile and in application of the CCNL Terziario Distribuzione e Servizi.
The definition of the specific compensation, including any variable elements (such as MBO) or ancillary benefits, will depend on the evaluation of the profile against the requirements of the position.

Winning Requirements

• Degree in STEM subjects (Computer Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering)
• Brilliant academic career
• Familiarity with industrial systems, IoT or automation
• Knowledge of SCADA, MES, Digital Twin, Python, and optimization algorithms
• Any Azure IoT, AWS IoT Core, GCP IoT certifications will be considered a plus
• Experience, also academic, with machine learning for predictive maintenance
• Curiosity for Industry 4.0 and digital transformation
• Propensity for teamwork
