As an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor - Environmental you will be responsible for:

• Take care of the governance for the Baker Hughes HSE Management System ensuring robust environmental compliance with ISO 14001/45001
• Conduct internal / external HSE audits.
• Manage Remediation Projects.
• Conduct Waste Vendor Management audits and manage approved waste audit database
• Support sustainability reporting projects and drive improvements.
• Review and analyze water and waste data for sustainability reporting. Help sites identify ways to reduce water usage reduce waste and increase recycling.
• Provide guidance and assistance with Energy and Water Assessments across the organization.
• Provide consultation on permitting processes reporting and regulatory interactions within the Eastern Hemisphere.
• Lead and manage environmentalrelated concerns.
• Coordinate with external bodies regarding environmental matters.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 10 years of progressive HSE experience or similar leadership experience across global multi-site operations preferably within the energy oil & gas or heavy industry sectors.
• Experience in Remediation Projects is strongly preferred.
• Have an understanding of local and international Environmental laws regulations and standards.
• Be able to read and interpret regulations.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven track record of successful project management.
• Know ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Internal auditor qualification is preferred
• Have good leadership problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to provide general environmental training to employees.
• Have good communication skills enabling effective engagement across cultures and organizational levels; possess fluency in Italian and English with additional language proficiency being an advantage.
• Have the willingness and flexibility to travel internationally.

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 60800 To 83600. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
