The role of the Global Purchasing & SourcingLead

is an international development opportunity for a provenPurchasing professional who wants to build a global career at ITT. The position will require global vision, availability to travel and potentially relocation.
You will support and lead direct and/or indirect purchasing projects, supplier scouting, RFQs, negotiations, cost optimization, supplier performanceimprovementand cross-functional project execution. The scope and autonomy will grow over time.
Responsabilità essenziali

-Deliver concrete sourcing andpurchasingprojects within Motion Technologies (including cross-business initiatives when assigned).
-Support and execute global sourcing strategies across assigned direct and/or indirect categories, aligned with ITT procurement strategy and plant needs.
-Conduct supplier scouting, market analysis, supplierevaluationandqualificationsto strengthen the global supply base.
-Run or support RFQs, supplier comparisons, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization to meet cost, quality, delivery, and risk targets.
-Identifyand implement cost-reduction opportunities through competitive bidding, localization, dual sourcing, value analysis, and supplier productivity initiatives.
-Monitor supplier performance,purchasingmetrics, and market trends; provide data-based recommendations to stakeholders.
-Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain and Program Management on sourcing, launches, make/buy evaluations and cost improvement initiatives.
-Ensure compliance with ITT purchasing policies, ethical standards, approval flows, and contractual requirements.
-Contribute to the standardization and sharing ofpurchasingbest practices across Motion Technologies
-Provide clear project updates to MotionTechnologiesPurchasing leadership and present progress to program sponsors or stakeholders whenrequired.
-Travel to plants,suppliersand project locations to build operational understanding and achieve project outcomes.
Requisiti di posizione

-Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics, BusinessAdministrationora relatedfield.
-Approximately4-5yearsof experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement, category management or supply chain in automotive, industrial manufacturing or similarly complex environments where supplier risk management and international exposure are key, in multi-site or international teams across cultures, plants, suppliers and business practices.
-Solid experience with RFQ processes, supplier negotiations, cost analysis, supplier performance tracking, and cross-functional projects.
-Strong analytical skills: ability to work with purchasing metrics, cost breakdowns, market data, and supplier performance indicators.
-Fluent English (written and spoken).Knowledge of Italian is strongly recommended and will be considered a significant advantage.Additionallanguages are a plus.
-Experience in direct materials, indirect purchasing,logistics, raw materials, or technical commodities.
-Familiarity with ERP and procurement tools; advanced Excel and data reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) are a plus.
-Training or certification in negotiation, sourcing, supply chain,logistics, or project management is an advantage.
-Full willingness and practical ability totravel extensively(up to ~50% whenrequired)
