As Production Manager in CRI‑MAN, your mission is to ensure the collaboration of production and inbound logistics, delivering high‑quality products on time and at optimal cost. You will lead your teams with a focus on continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability.
Responsibilities
Continue to integrate the operations processes of the Product Company into the Atlas Copco operations processes.
Lead and manage a cross‑functional team including Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Planners, Logistics, Foreman, and Operators.
Oversee daily production operations to meet safety requirements, output, quality, and cost objectives.
Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility.
Ensure efficient material flow from inbound logistics to production lines.
Collaborate with the Purchasing Department and Suppliers (with the Call‑Off function) to guarantee timely delivery of raw materials.
Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer demand and capacity.
Be a key contributor to Product Quality Meetings (PQMs, TCMs), Cost Cut Meetings (CC7), New Product Developments (NPD), PTMs (Project Team Meetings), and PCMs (Project Committee Meetings, divisional and local).
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to support smooth operations.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for production and logistics.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
Align with Marketing on market needs.
Be an ambassador for the Product Company in diverse divisional and cross‑divisional platforms and board meetings (Production Council, Business Review Meetings).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree – or above – in Engineering studies or equivalent.
Proven experience in managing cross‑functional manufacturing teams.
Strong background in production planning, logistics, and lean manufacturing, preferably in the international manufacturing industry.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
Experience in high‑volume manufacturing environments is a plus.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and production systems.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent command of both ltalian and English is mandatory.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma).
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Strong leadership presence with a hands‑on, proactive approach.
Passionate about operational excellence and team development.
Results‑oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
Able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Location: Ability to work in Correggio, Italy 5 days / week.
