ABOUT THE ROLE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of food according to hotel standards and recipes. Assist with basic food preparation, ingredient handling, and mise en place for daily operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, storage areas, and equipment. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times. Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products in accordance with FIFO procedures. Support chefs during service periods to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Help monitor stock levels and report shortages or quality concerns to supervisors. Learn and apply culinary techniques, recipes, and kitchen procedures under the guidance of senior chefs. Collaborate with kitchen and F&B team members to deliver high-quality dining experiences. Participate in training and development activities to build culinary and hospitality skills. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Currently studying or recently graduated in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field. Strong interest in culinary operations and food & beverage within the hospitality industry. Passion for food, creativity, and willingness to learn. Good teamwork and communication skills. Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage. Positive attitude, flexibility, and eagerness to gain hands-on kitchen experience.
