Role Description


As an experienced Business Manager for our Milan or Turin agency, you will act as a true intrapreneur responsible for developing and managing your business unit within the engineering consulting environment, ideally in ASD (aeronautics, space, defense).


Business Development

  • Build and develop your own client portfolio in the Industry sector
  • Conduct phone prospecting and in-person client meetings
  • Understand client challenges and propose tailored consulting solutions
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Promote Abylsen’s three engagement models (technical assistance, service center, work package)


Recruitment & Team Management

  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit top consulting engineers
  • Conduct interviews and select high-potential consultants
  • Manage, support, and retain your team through active career follow-up
  • Contribute to team engagement and performance


Profit Center Management & Coaching

  • Manage and optimize the profitability of your business unit
  • Monitor performance indicators and drive sustainable growth
  • Coach and develop a junior Business Engineer already in place
  • Support the future growth of the Milan or Turin team


You will join the Italian subsidiary (created in 2021) and report directly to the Country Director. xlwpduy


Compensation

We offer an attractive compensation package including fixed salary, performance bonuses, and benefits.


Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Engineering or Business School)
  • Fluent Italian and English (mandatory)
  • Proven experience as a Business Manager in engineering consulting, ideally in ASD
  • Strong track record in business development and client acquisition
  • Experience managing consultants and ideally coaching junior Business Managers
