Job Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Italian market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the assigned market and lead the full sales cycle from lead detection to closing commercial agreements.
  • Develop and execute market opening strategies, focusing on validation and prospecting.
  • Negotiate directly with C‑Levels in HR, Learning & Development, and Health & Safety (HSE/PRL) departments.
  • Lead consultative sales processes, managing critical barriers such as legal compliance and cybersecurity.
  • Persuasively present Vidext’s value proposition to prospects.
  • Maintain a solid and updated pipeline to guarantee market growth.

Essential Requirements

  • At least 4 years of proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in B2B SaaS consultative sales roles.
  • Native in Italian and fluent in English (C1) for internal communication.
  • Track record of reaching and exceeding revenue quotas in competitive environments.
  • “Hunter” profile with the energy to handle initial cold prospecting.
  • Ability to understand AI technology solutions and translate them into business benefits.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience selling to Human Resources, Training, or Health & Safety (PRL) departments.
  • Knowledge of the Industrial, Infrastructure, Energy, or EdTech sectors.
  • Previous experience in startups or international scale‑ups.
  • Experience negotiating complex contracts and closing high‑impact deals.
  • Ability to adapt to hyper‑growth environments (2x–3x annual growth).
  • Language proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
