We are looking for a motivated Controlling Intern to join our Finance team in Milan and support the development of a robust performance management culture.

If you’re passionate about numbers, eager to learn, and want to gain hands-on experience in budgeting, reporting, and analytical analysis, this is your chance!

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of data entered in SAP : review and validate all purchase requisitions entered in the system, ensuring correct cost allocation.
  • Owner of OPEX and CAPEX expenses : supporting cost optimization and budgeting activities.
  • Support monthly closing activities, including accruals, cost checks, and SAP data validation.
  • Assist in preparing P&L reports by business line and variance analysis (actual vs budget / forecast).
  • Help consolidate financial data across multiple entities (Italy, US, Morocco) and ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain and update SAP structures (chart of accounts, item mapping, cost centers, projects).
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and dashboards to support management decisions.
  • Collaborate with different departments (Sales, Logistics, R&D) to collect financial inputs.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of controlling processes and reporting tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration (a degree in Planning & Control or similar is a strong plus).
  • Passion for working with numbers, strong analytical skills mindset and attention to detail : you enjoy analyzing data and finding insights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
  • Appetite for working with digital tools and ERP platforms, such as SAP
  • Good English language skills, both spoken and written. Proficiency in French or Italian, in addition to native language, is a strong asset.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
