Missio nThe Electrical Plant Design Specialist is responsible, within the projects they are assigned to, for all engineering activities related to the design of the electrical systems under their responsibility. These activities include both 3D modeling and the management of interfaces between different packages. Their involvement may be full or partial depending on project needs .The specialist reports to the Project Leader or Group Leader for project-specific aspects, and interfaces with the Head of Department regarding workload and the quality of the produced documentation. Main Activities & Responsibilitie s:The Electrical & Instrumentation Plant Design Specialist is responsible fo * r:Ensuring the quality of the produced documentation and its compliance with project contractual requirements, within the assigned budget and schedul * e;Supporting the Group Leader or Head of Department in ensuring the implementation and continuous update of departmental and company standards, procedures, and work instruction * s;Acquiring the technical training required by the department and the company, and sharing new design techniques with colleagues across the Tecnimont Grou * p;Keeping up to date with technical innovations within the discipline and transferring knowledge to other Specialists and Engineer * s;Monitoring the market state of the art and providing technical and commercial evaluations of new products, technologies, workflows, applications, etc * .;Developing, in collaboration with Plant Design Engineers, the complete electrical plant design, including layouts, lists, plant diagrams, specifications, and datasheets for systems and installation material * s;Preparing, under the supervision of the Project Leader and in coordination with the Proposals and Quantities group, Material Take-Offs (MTO), Material Requisitions, and construction work specification * s;Comparing, under the supervision of the Project Leader and in collaboration with the Proposals and Quantities group, the quantities of already procured installation materials against the current estimate and site requirement s. Required Qualifications & Skil * ls:Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineeri * ng;At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within engineering companies (petrochemical, oil & gas, energy sector * s);At least 5 years of specific experience as a Plant Design Engine * er;Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD * 2D;Experience working in international and distributed engineering tea * ms;Excellent command of English, both written and spok * en;Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad for short or long perio ds.
