Adjunct Faculty in Graphic Design

Position : Department of Art and Design at St. John's University, Queens campus, New York City. Application for an adjunct position in Graphic Design, to begin September 2026. Course : ART 3120 Interaction Design I – introduction to user experience and user interface design. Students design for digital platforms, learn foundational HTML and CSS, and translate information architecture into prototypes and functioning websites. The class meets 5 hours and fifty minutes per week on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:25 pm to 6:15 pm. Responsibilities

Teach the undergraduate course ART 3120 Interaction Design I for the Fall 2026 semester, including lesson planning, delivering instructional sessions, grading assignments and projects, and providing student feedback. Qualifications

Experienced Graphic, Interaction, or Experience Designer currently working in the field and/or with college teaching experience. Master’s degree or equivalent industry experience. Pay Rate

2026‑2027: Adjunct Assistant Professor – $1,906 per contact hour; Adjunct Instructor – $1,803 per contact hour. Equal Opportunity Employer
