Tecno Piemonte Spa is actively recruiting a Construction Materials Laboratory Technician - Pavements & Aggregates for its Pavements and Aggregates department, based in Lenta (VC), Italy.

Tecno Piemonte Spa, founded as a private and independent company, is now part of the Apave Italia Group. It provides services, particularly testing and certification, in the civil engineering and environmental sectors. It operates both nationally and internationally, supporting public administrations, companies, and individuals through its facilities and expertise. Our structure includes 350 direct employees and utilizes a vast network of approximately 500 external professionals/freelancers, totaling around 850 technical experts. Our areas of specialization include mandatory and voluntary inspections (equipment, NDT, systems), certifications (systems

and products), and specialized training in safety and technical subjects. Our commitment is to ensure a safe, compliant, and sustainable operational environment for our clients.

Let's walk you through your day-to-day

Once you've completed your onboarding, you'll undertake various assignments:

Field Sampling: Collect samples of aggregates, bitumen, and asphalt concrete (bituminous mixtures) at production plants or construction sites.

On-site Documentation: Complete sampling reports and record data provided by the client and the Site Management (Direzione Lavori).

Sample Logistics: Manage the registration, handling, and transport of samples from the field to the laboratory.

Laboratory Operations: Support daily lab management, including material intake, registration, and logistics.

Technical Testing: Conduct standardized tests (UNI EN standards) on aggregates, bitumen, emulsions, and asphalt concrete using specialized equipment, both in the lab and on-site.

Data Recording: Accurately record test values on technical sheets and provide detailed reporting of all performed activities.

ITALY, Lenta (VC)

Contract type : Temporary with the intent of permanent placement. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Availability : Full-time, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends / nights)

Benefit : Continuous, specialized technical training, company-provided lunch/canteen services, supplementary pay structure and bonuses, including 13th and 14th-month salary.

First of all, your education & diplomas:

• Technical Diploma (e.G., Geometra or Perito) or a Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or an equivalent technical field.
• Previous experience in similar technical roles or materials testing.

Next, your skills & personal qualities :

• Licensing: Valid Category B Driver’s License (required for operating cars and vans).
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, high precision, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Teamwork: Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt working hours based on project and site requirements.
• IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
