Mold Designer

Envolve Consulting, an indipendent company specialized in serch and selection, is searching for a Mold Designer, for prestigious multinational corporation.

He/She is responsible of designing moulds for thermoplastic injection moulding and, if necessary, dies for powder extrusion starting from the specific technical needs of the Customers.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Takes care of the feasibility analysis and development of new products starting from the specifications received from R&D Department
• Directly carries out the calculation and the design of injection moulds (and extrusion dies) according to the defined specifications and the features of the machines, in order to achieve the best possible efficiency process level
• Follows the mould production process in collaboration with the mold making manager
• Takes care of safety aspects in order to guarantee the respect of the safety directives
• Supports Production in case of problems or defects of the product
• Prepares spare parts for existing moulds based on maintenances programs
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of Cad 3D parametric software (plus CREO)
• Knowledge in plastic molding and quality control
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Education and experience

Degree or High School Diploma in Technical Disciplines

At least 5 years of experience in the field of mechanical design

Place of work: Vittorio Veneto (TV).

Salary Range: 35/45K.
