Project Developer – Utility-Scale Renewables €40,000-€48,000 bonus Milan office home working options Italian and English Language required SR2 is partnering with an ambitious renewable energy developer to support the growth of their Italian development team. This is a hands-on role for a Project Developer who wants real ownership of projects from early-stage feasibility through to execution. What you’ll be doing Coordinate with external developers, engineers, and consultants to drive renewable energy projects forward Assess technical feasibility and commercial viability of utility-scale PV projects using industry-standard tools Support land acquisition and M&A activity, including technical reviews and due diligence Engage with local authorities and regulatory bodies throughout the permitting process Work closely with EPC and Asset Management teams to ensure smooth handover from development to delivery Report project progress, risks, and milestones directly to senior development leadership What we’re looking for Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline 1–2 years’ experience in renewable energy project development (solar PV preferred) Strong understanding of Italian energy regulations and permitting frameworks Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting Clear communicator with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills Fluent English and Italian Willingness to travel occasionally within Italy Why consider this role Join a fast-growing European renewable energy platform Exposure to full project lifecycle development Collaborative, supportive team environment Competitive salary and benefits SR2 is supporting this hire as a recruitment partner.
