Why This Role Is Interesting:

• You're building revenue-critical systems. What you design and ship directly affects the customers, not just internal dashboards nobody opens.
• You touch the full stack and lifecycle. From architecture to CI/CD to observability, you're not boxed into "just backend" or "just frontend"; you get to shape how the whole thing hangs together.
• You don't fight AI - you wield it. Instead of quietly using AI tools on the side, this role expects and rewards an AI-native workflow with tools like Cursor, Claude, Copilot, or similar baked into how you work every day.

What You'll Actually Do:

• Architect and evolve real systems. Design and refine services that handle multi-tenant, high-traffic workloads for thousands of dealerships and manufacturers.
• Push the stack forward without chasing hype. Help move our systems toward more event-driven, distributed architectures where it makes sense.
• Use AI like an extra team member.
• Mentor and raise the bar. Give thoughtful code reviews, pair on gnarly problems, and help teammates level up-especially around AI-native workflows and good engineering discipline.

What You Bring:

• You've spent years shipping and operating production systems at scale—ideally SaaS, B2B, or multi-tenant products—and you can speak to the trade-offs you've made under pressure.
• Strong backend instincts. You're fluent in at least one major backend ecosystem (PHP, Java, Python, etc.) and comfortable with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL; you know where and when NoSQL or streaming/messaging systems fit.
• System design mindset. You think in terms of boundaries, contracts, failure modes, and evolvability.
• DevOps-aware, not DevOps-dependent. CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and incident response are part of your mental model of "done," not someone else's problem.
• AI-native workflow. You already use AI tools regularly, or you're genuinely eager to lean into them: to move faster, explore more options, and focus your energy where human judgment matters most.
