We are looking for:

Senior Instrumentation Engineer

As a Senior Instrumentation Engineer, you will join our Department of SMAUT, in the business line Energy Carriers, conducting the following activities:

• Prepare Instrumentation elements (tagged items and bulk material), quantities for cost and erection works estimates.
• Define engineering design basis and guidelines. Prepare Instrumentation technical specifications, data sheets, installation specifications and drawings, BOQs, and MTOs.
• Prepare the technical documentation for Instrumentation elements material and services requisitions and perform technical evaluations according to internal procedures.
• Participate in P&ID mechanization.
• Validate vendor control valves and safety valves sizing calculations, measurements elements sizing calculations.
• Ensure Instrumentation 3D modeling design activities.
• Review client technical documentation and requirements.
• Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities and control subcontracted engineering documents.
• Optimize Instrumentation design ensuring minimal cost and complexity, in compliance with contractual and safety requirements.
• Perform site engineering activities during construction and commissioning phases.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (at least 5 years) in similar positions with international main contracting and engineering companies.
• The ideal candidate shall have the following technical skills:
• Independently develop technical specifications, datasheets, and installation designs for various types of instruments/analyzers/bulk materials.
• Interface independently with other engineering disciplines and suppliers to identify optimized solutions from a technical/economical point of view.
• Finalize technical evaluations for the purchase of instruments/analyzers/bulk materials.
• Independently solve interdisciplinary issues during project activities.
• Knowledge of English: B2/C1.
• Strong attitude to work in a multicultural environment and team.

Sede: Milano HO. Available for international assignments when necessary.

Contract Type: Permanent, salary package commensurate with experience.
