About the Role
If you are passionate about transforming data into meaningful business stories and thrive on uncovering insights that drive strategic decisions, this role is for you. As a Business Insight Analyst, you will join our Consumer Shopper Understanding department, where you will work closely with business leaders, marketing, and trade marketing teams to shape strategies and optimize performance across categories. You will focus particularly on category and recurrence analysis, tracking key moments, integrating sell‑out, consumer panel, and loyalty data to build a comprehensive view of performance. In this role, you will not only analyze data but also bring it to life, helping the company make informed, data‑driven decisions that support business growth and strengthen customer relationships.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead category specific analyses, delivering high‑quality insights and actionable recommendations that add measurable value to the business. Manage end‑to‑end analytics projects, from understanding stakeholder needs to crafting compelling storytelling presentations for top management.
- Merge and interpret diverse data sources, such as loyalty cards, retail and consumer panel data, sell‑in information, and media data, to deliver integrated insights that guide strategic decisions.
- Conduct deep‑dive analyses into customer, retail, and consumer behaviours, uncovering patterns and opportunities that support category development and key customer partnerships.
- Ensure alignment across teams, collaborating with marketing, trade marketing, and external research partners to deliver robust, insightful performance on chocolate, chilled and beverage categories performance.
- Prepare executive‑level reports and dashboards using PowerPoint and Excel, while leveraging Power BI and analytical programming skills (such as Python) as a plus.
About You
- Bring a strong quantitative mindset and a natural curiosity for understanding what lies behind the numbers. With a degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, you have developed solid analytical and business insight skills through 2–5 years of experience as a Business or Data Analyst.
- Ability to connect data with business context, transforming figures into stories that influence decisions. Confident presenting analyses to senior stakeholders, with a structured approach and strong synthesis and communication skills.
- Proactive, collaborative spirit, working effectively on different projects across teams and managing relationships with internal and external partners. Command of PowerPoint and Excel, familiarity with Power BI, consumer panel data (CIRCANA, Nielsen, GfK), and possibly Python.
- Fluent in Italian and English, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively in an international environment.
- Passion for insights, attention to detail, and ambition to make data a key driver of business success.
