Sous Chef

As a Sous Chef at Belmond, you will play a vital role in our culinary team, delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect the unique character and elegance of our brand. Collaborating closely with the Executive Chef, you will contribute to menu development, oversee kitchen operations, and ensure consistent food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff training.
• Ensure the preparation and presentation of dishes meets Belmond's high standards.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock control and procurement of kitchen supplies.
• Maintain hygiene and safety protocols within the kitchen environment.
• Monitor kitchen staff performance and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Contribute to the creation of innovative and seasonal menus.
• Facilitate communication and teamwork between kitchen staff and other departments.
