Construction Systems Implementation Senior Engineer

The Construction System Implementation Engineer is responsible for giving assistance in the definition, implementation and deployment of the Construction Systems for the competitive management of the Construction. He/she reports to Construction Methodologies & Systems Group Leader.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

• Act as interface with ICT and with the other Functions within Construction Department for the identification of needs, development and implementation of the systems for Construction, both for the Home Office and for Sites;
• Support the colleagues for the matters relevant to the usage of the construction systems and act as focal point for the training activities to be deployed both in Home Office and at Site;
• Analyze and support the management of the interfaces between the construction systems and the other Tecnimont systems (e.g. Marian, Group ERP Information System, MileMate!, etc…);
• Support the Site Manager both in the site implementation and in the training activities for the deployed systems.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree on Engineering Information Technology disciplines.
• Relevant work Experience: at least 10 years of experience suits the ideal candidate.
• Availability to periodical missions abroad.
• Fluent English speaker. The knowledge of the language will be tested over the interview.
• Excellent communication and management skills possess a high level of organizational ability.
• Develop troubleshooting, problem solving, and creative/innovative thought processing skills.
• Ability to work in a technical manner and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
• To be able to manage high level of complexity and be adapt to quick scenario changes.
• Attention to details, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias towards timely performance.
• Knowledge and skill in selection and implementation of new information technology tools, and knowledge on Construction Management, Construction HSE, Construction Quality, Construction Estimating/Proposal and Subcontracting activities.
• experience in Oil & Gas Industry will constitute a plus.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS AND COMMENTS

• The Employee will go for periodical missions on Sites abroad as per Project’s requirement.
