Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Mainframe Software Engineer located in Rome/Milan. The role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe software products, collaborating with a team of engineers, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of mainframe systems. This role will mean becoming part of a global multi-disciplined mainframe development team (develop, test, document) and will involve learning about our mainframe products.

Qualifications

• Computer Science and Software Development skills
• Deep familiarity with mainframe and its various sub-systems, features etc (VTAM, TSO, z/OS, ISPF, CICS, Batch, DB2, IMS, VSAM, PDS, QSAM, PDSE/2, CATALOGS, SDSF, exits, SCLM, LCS, DUMPS, Abend analysis, utilities etc).
• Knowledge of products like IBM File Manager for z/OS, IBM Fault Analyzer for z/OS, ADFz, IDz, z/OS Explorer, z/OS Open Editor or similar products.
• Fluency in English
