Responsibilities
- Overall management of engineering and design activities for the BESS project delivery
- Mobilize and coordinate resources from NHOA’s Design Engineering team to support the preparation of the technical deliverables required as per the engineering plan of the project
- Monitor project progress in compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards
- Manage positive relationships with project partners’ technical teams, NHOA project team, and other project stakeholders (Suppliers, Consultants, etc.)
- Strong engagement with NHOA Project Engineering based on the key geographies (US, Australia, Taiwan), ensuring alignment on activities, processes, technical approach, and other head office requirements
- Management and coordination of engineering activities
- Management and submission of all engineering related contract deliverables
- Ensure fit‑for‑purpose procurement of all project battery storage equipment
- Prepare FAT procedures and attend to FAT in Suppliers / NHOA premises
- Support Project Engineer and project partner(s) in all relevant commissioning activities
- Participate to hot commissioning activities and SAT on‑site
- Delivery training requirements for BESS
- Ensure all warranties and guarantees are appropriate and achieved
- Management of all engineering and design deliverables
- Management of engineering schedule, ensuring project schedule accurately reflects engineering activities
- Manage all internal and external reporting requirements for engineering and design activities
Qualifications
Master’s degree in electrical engineering or similarAt least +3 years’ experience in design and / or commissioning of power plants / substationsExperience in on‑field activities on MW‑sized power plantsFluent knowledge of the English languageNice to have
Experience in turn‑key delivery of BESSKnowledge of a second language (Chinese, Spanish or French)Soft Skills
Interpersonal and communication skills toward both internal and external stakeholdersOpen‑minded approach, capability to work in an international and multi‑cultural teamTroubleshooting aptitude, problem solving orientation, quick adaptation to changes.Ability to effectively prioritize and plan tasksLocation
